Military airstrike kills 37 civilians accidentally in Niger Republic

A military airstrike targeted at Boko Haram members in Abadam Faransa village in Niger republic on Tuesday February 17th accidentally killed 37 villagers who were gathered for the funeral of a local chief. 20 others were injured from the airstrike.

Although no nation has claimed responsibility for the airstrikes, some Niger Republic military officers believe the airstrike was launched from a Nigerian jet, a charge the Nigerian Defence Headquarters spokesperson, Gen Chris Olukolade has denied

"It’s not to my knowledge and there has not been any report from our people of such an incident,” Gen Olukolade told BBC in an interview

Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Nigeria have in recent weeks stepped up coordinated offensive operation against Boko Haram. Chad and Nigeria have used fighter jets as part of a regional alliance to defeat the Islamist group that has recently escalated its deadly attacks on Nigeria and its neighbors.

Lil Wayne's ex-wife and reality star Toya Wright has penned down a book titled 'How To Lose A Husband' following her recent separation from husband number two, rapper and former Sony Exec, MempHitz. Toya told Wendy Williams on her show yesterday that while her husband of almost four years took to social media to deal with their marital problems, she decided to pen a book using experiences from both her marriages.

I enjoyed the remix to Skuki’s Gbemileke so much that my excitement grew with the news of a video release and it is not unconnected with the fact that it features vocal sweetheart and Mavin dorodiva, Tiwa Savage.

But as much as I want to say I love the video, I still expected more from the Unlimited L.A-directed cut. Gbemileke is supposed to connote a rise (or better yet, an elevation) from a former life. Not that the video didn’t rep, infact it had a beautiful plot of a story to go with but the focus seemed majorly on theShoki dancing, which brings me to saying that I think this Shokidance seloquesence has been a bit overly used and is becoming adulterated… yes I’m talking to you Mrs Billz! And SkukiPeeshaun should please not try to Shoki until he’s perfected the dance craft.
